The 2025 Product Manual has been launched at the recently concluded Management Conference. Now in its 15th edition, the manual includes a new Controllers and Digital Solutions section as well as 31 new and 54 updated data sheets, reflecting the D&S Group's unique and comprehensive product offering.

The D&S Group has recently launch edits inaugural ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Report for the year 2023. The initiative of Internal Audit Executive Benard Karimi and his team, the report brings together the various elements of D&S's impact in the wider social ecosystem including its CSR activities, environmental and climate change initiatives and adherence to standards under the Integrated Management System including ISO9001, ISO14001and ISO45001 accreditations.

Britam Foundation has partnered with Davis & Shirtliff's Improving Lives Initiative to rehabilitate boreholes and install solar-powered pumps and panels in 21 primary schools across Kenya.

The D&S/Flowserve partnership has been officially launched in public at an event organized for industry professionals at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nariobi. Hosted by MD Edward Davis and Flowserve senior officials Jos Wilmaerts and Edouard Morlac, the event served to highlight the strategic fit between the two organizations, who have agreed to work exclusively with each other across the Eastern and Central African regions.

September is a busy time for the D&S Group as we move into Q4 and start the annual Planning process, always an important period for us. The year so far has not been without its challenges, especially in Kenya with its constraining economic conditions and market disruptions, though D&S continues to progress as it keeps investing for the future.

Under International Development Director Anthony Wangondu, several new branches have recently opened in Bujumbura (Burundi), Rusizi (Rwanda) and Ntinda. The new branches will deliver on the D&S commitment to bring its range of water and energy solutions closer to those who need them in the wider region.

USAID implementing partner RTI/Power Africa have selected Davis & Shirtliff to conduct a series of capacity building initiatives in the solar technology ecosystem.
