The installed system consists of a 12kW SOLARWORLD PV array, 12kw SMA solar inverter, 3 X 6kw SMA battery inverters and an 87.36kwh HOPPECKE battery bank. The system will be powering the hospital as the primary power source replacing the national grid. The grid will be used as a back-up source.

We Installed the 15kW solar grid connect system at ST. Jude International school Arusha, to supplement the UMEME power during the day and thus reduce the power bill.

THE SCHOOL HAS A POULATION OF 1,200 STUDENTS. 

THE SYSTEM COMPRISED: 

• 60NO. 250W SOLARWORLD MODULES, ROOF MOUNTED WITH ALUMINIUM SUPPORT STRUCTURES 
• 2NO. SMA TRIPOWER STP8000TL TRIPOWER INVERTERS 
• SOLAR HOME MANAGER FOR REMOTE MONITORING 

THE SYSTEM PERFORMS VERY WELL AND THE SCHOOL WAS ABLE TO REDUCE THEIR POWER BILL BY ABOUT 30% AND THE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO HAVE A ROI OF 3YEARS.
